Welcome to FeedComp!

Use FeedComp's powerful mobile and web versions to monitor and manage your feed operations whether you're right beside your animal or at your computer! Stay connected and fully control your feed operations no matter where you are! From checking inventory and adjusting feedings to delving into more detailed feeding reports, we've got you covered. Although you can access your data using both versions from any device, here are the recommended uses and main features of the mobile app and web versions:

Use the FeedComp App to easily control all of your feeding tasks while you're walking around the dairy! You can complete manual feeding tasks or view simple reports, as well as quickly adjust your ingredients, recipesClosed A combination of ingredients used to make feed for animals, or mixing and feeding schedules on-the-fly. You can also check your feed equipment connections, update or keep track of your feed locations, and more. If you need to adjust feedings while Editing Restrictions are active, use the mobile app to make changes. See How does data sync between mobile and web? to learn more about syncing your feed data.

Use FeedComp on PULSE to undergo more complex tasks when you're at your computer. You can record and analyze more robust feeding reports to help you make informed decisions about your feed operations. You can also easily manage all of your Feed-related data, edit your user account settings, and more. As long as the app has an active data connection, the app and web versions stay synchronized. If your mobile connection is down, you can continue to feed in offline mode, and the web will update as soon as your data connection is reestablished. To see when your data was last synced, check the top of the mobile app screen, or use the Refresh option to pull down the latest from PULSE web. The web version controls all FeedComp data except for feeding numbers and inventory amounts/usage; the mobile app takes precedence as the source for those details.

If your dairy has set Editing Restrictions, you will not be able to make changes to feedings from web during the restricted times.

If you use FeedComp and WeighComp, PULSE automatically exchanges data between the two platforms as long as the FeedComp mobile app has an active connection. This ensures that both FeedComp and WeighComp always have the same, accurate inventory data. When you use FeedComp to manage your feed operations and WeighComp to manage shipments coming into and leaving your dairy, syncing the data between the two platforms also streamlines the operation by reducing manual entry.

  • FeedComp Data Sync to WeighComp: FeedComp sends new or updated ingredient, vendor, and location details to WeighComp.
  • WeighComp Data Sync to FeedComp: WeighComp sends new or updated inventory adjustments (including pickup and delivery amounts), costs, dry matterClosed The dry weight of an ingredient with no mositure, and vendor details, to FeedComp.
