Pens

Tap Create Pen at the bottom of the screen. Enter the pen details, and then tap Save at the bottom of the screen.

Tap the pen to update, and then tap Edit Pen at the bottom of the screen. From here, you can change the pen details, and:

• Update Pen Count
• Synchronize Pen Data from DairyComp (DC Unlimited subscribers)
• Deactivate Pen
• Reactivate Pen
• Add Feedings to a Pen

1. Tap the pen to update.
2. Tap Edit Pen at the bottom of the screen.
3. Update the Pen Count, and then tap Save at the bottom of the screen.

Use the Update from DC option to pull latest animal counts from DairyComp into the app.

1. Tap the pen that needs to be updated from DairyComp.
2. Tap Edit Pen at the bottom of the screen.
3. Check the Update from DC box, and then tap Save at the bottom of the screen.

1. Tap the pen to inactivate.
2. Tap Edit Pen at the bottom of the screen.
3. Tap Deactivate at the top right of the screen.
NOTE: If a feeding schedule is associated with the pen, it is removed when the pen is deactivated.

1. Tap the pen to activate.
2. Tap Reactivate at the bottom of the screen.

1. Tap the pen to update.
2. Tap Edit Pen at the bottom of the screen.
3. Tap + Add Feeding at the bottom of the screen.
4. Update the Mix Name, select the Mixer A piece of farm equipment that mixes all the loaded ingredients for a feed recipe. Mobile mixers are most common, but stationary mixers also exist. and the Recipe A combination of ingredients used to make feed for animals, and then tap Add Pen in the middle of the screen.
5. Select the pen, and then tap Next at the bottom of the screen.
6. If more than one pen was selected, tap and hold on a pen and drop it into a new order, and then tap Next at the bottom of the screen.
7. Enter the ingredient Amount, select DM/HD Dry Matter per Head or AF As fed, and then tap Add at the bottom of the screen.
8. Tap Save at the bottom of the screen.

Options to search, sort, and filter the pens list are available at the top of the screen.
