Before You Begin: Required Setup

Before you can begin using FeedComp to feed at your dairy, you must complete the required setup in the following order:

  1. Locations
  2. Equipment
  3. Pens
  4. Ingredients
  5. Recipes
  6. Adjust Feedings
  7. Vendors (if your dairy handles deliveries or pickups for Inventory)
  8. Scales (if the device is used for feeding)
NOTE: Devices used for feeding must be connected to a scale. See Scales to learn more about connecting to your scale. Devices not used for feeding will not have all available Feed options. If you change your mind about using a device for feeding, log out of the app and select Yes or No when asked if the device will be used for feeding.
