Equipment

Tap Create Equipment at the bottom of the screen. Enter the equipment details, and then tap Save at the bottom of the screen.

TIP: If " Mixer" is selected in Equipment Type, you can enter the Equipment Capacity, Weight Acknowledgment Threshold, and Drop Tolerance. If the weight of an ingredient drops below the threshold set while mixing a recipe A combination of ingredients used to make feed for animals, FeedComp displays an alert that requires attention before adding the next ingredient to the mixer A piece of farm equipment that mixes all the loaded ingredients for a feed recipe. Mobile mixers are most common, but stationary mixers also exist.. This ensures that ingredients are recorded correctly when their amounts are too small to be recognized by the scale while mixing.

Tap the equipment to update, and then tap Edit Equipment at the bottom of the screen. From here, you can change the equipment details, and:

• Deactivate Equipment
• Reactivate Equipment
• Enable Sounds

1. Tap the equipment to inactivate.
2. Tap Edit Equipment at the bottom of the screen.
3. Tap Deactivate at the top right of the screen.
NOTE: If a feeding schedule is associated with the equipment, it is removed when the equipment is deactivated.

1. Tap the equipment to activate.
2. Tap Reactivate at the bottom of the screen.

FeedComp can play helpful sounds when while adding ingredients to the mixer or dropping loads at pens. These sounds can notify your technician when a specific ingredient weight is reached while mixing or a load of feed is almost done dropping at a pen. Sounds allow technicians to feed more efficiently because they won't need to look at the scale and/or mobile device while feeding.

1. Tap the equipment to update.
2. In Unit Amount under Audio Trigger Weight, enter the scale weight that will activate a sound.
3. Tap + Add Sound at the bottom of the screen.
4. Tap to preview each sound available, and then tap the preferred sound to enable it.
5. Tap Add at the bottom of the screen.
6. Under Audio Settings, tap to play the sound selected. If it is too loud, tap and drag on the Volume bar to change the volume. Or, tap Mute Sound to turn the sound off.
7. Tap Save at the bottom of the screen.

Options to search and filter the equipment list are available at the top of the screen.
